Networker is the first purpose-built cable-working barge in South East Asia. One of the largest vessels of her kind, she is specifically designed to provide shallow water expertise throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Networker can overcome the most challenging seabed terrain, whilst her all-electric drive ensures maximum flexibility and control during narrow corridor cable installation operations.
The purpose-built barge has been involved in numerous installation projects, which include a number supporting oil and gas customers. Networker completed the installation and burial of 71km of fibre optic cable in Papua New Guinea for Saipem as well as undertaking a cable installation project which required using Global Marine’s rock cutting specialist equipment in Russia for Sakhalin Energy IC.
