WINDFORCE 2020 Conference

3rd – 4th September 2020, Bremerhaven, Germany
Andrew Lloyd, Director, Power Cables, at Global Offshore, is presenting at 8.30am (UK time) on Day 2 of the WINDFORCE 2020 Conference. Subsea Expo 2020

11th – 13th February 2020, Aberdeen
We will be exhibiting at Subsea Expo 2020, in Aberdeen from Tuesday 11th February to Thursday 13th February. Come and see us on stand 4.

, Assistant Project Manager at Global Offshore, is presenting at 2.30pm on Day 1 of the event. Find out how we’ve been utilising cable installation techniques and our extensive experience from within the oil & gas sector in new, emerging markets such as offshore wind.

At 3pm on Day 1,  in Meeting Room, Global Offshore Business Development Manager Rob Lindsay will be presenting a case study of our new PLP240, a system minimising operational risk but also substantially reducing the time, and therefore cost, to install subsea cables.

WindEurope Offshore 2019

26-28th November 2019, Copenhagen

We will be exhibiting at WindEurope Offshore 2019 in Copenhagen from Tuesday 26th November to Thursday 28th November. Organised in collaboration with Wind Denmark, WindEurope Offshore 2019 is Europe’s flagship offshore wind event, attracting 9,000 visitors across three days. Cables 2019

29th – 30th October 2019, P&J Live, Aberdeen

Global Offshore are pleased to be event partners for the upcoming Cables 19 event. Organised by RenewableUK and Subsea UK, this event tackles the big questions around subsea cables through information sharing and industry-led problem-solving in order to drive improvements and enable cross-industry collaboration.

Our MD Mike Daniel will be taking part in a panel with other business leaders from Vattenfall, ADS HV and Renewable UK discussing trends in the market and developing solutions for emerging opportunities.

Our Commercial Manager Kevin Robb is sharing the stage with representatives from Jan de Nul, Boskalis and DEME Offshore giving an installers insight into the current market.

On the back of the news earlier in the summer that we worked with Orsted to add their UK portfolio of cables in the ACMA zone, Andrew Lloyd our Director of Power Cables will play a critical role in leading the timely discussion on cable repair strategies.

Global Offshore Wind 2019

Come and see us on stand 137. Come and talk to the Global Offshore Team on stand 137 at Global Offshore Wind, 25 – 26 June, ExCeL London. Project Engineer, Liam McNeil, will be delivering a presentation on the subsea stage on day 2 of the event titled, Minimising operational risk and overall subsea cable installation time utilising new ploughing technology. Make sure you don’t miss it at 12:30 in the Subsea Theatre. Our Director of Power Cables, Andy Lloyd, will also be presenting on day 2 of the event, about power cable maintenance. Be in the Platinum Suite 3 at 15:15 on Wednesday to listen in to his session. Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference 2018

23rd October 2018 Our Director of Power Cables, Andy Lloyd, delivered a speaking session on ‘Subsea Power Cable Systems’, on Tuesday 23rd October. The number of power cables in the water is increasing. As a result, so are the number of faults. Optimising cable fault repair time, in order to minimise downtime and cost, is critical to the long-term success of wind farm owners and operators. Utilising our experience of cable maintenance within other sectors, we can examine real-life case studies and best practice to find solutions to overcome this growing challenge.
