Our highly experienced, respected project engineering and project management teams ensure that, even whilst working in the harshest of seas and most challenging of seabed condition, projects are delivered successfully. From our strategically located base in Aberdeen, Global Offshore has developed a reputation as a trusted partner with many clients returning following successfully executed projects for the oil & gas and offshore renewables markets.
These long-standing relationships have been forged through our flexibility and understanding of the client’s needs. To date, Global Offshore has been involved in the installation of more than 850 power cables, while the Q1400 trenching system, which has the capability to perform jet trenching in soils of up to 100 KPA and mechanical chain cutting of soils of up to 250 KPA, has worked on multiple UK and European wind farms. The business has also conducted multiple operations in oil & gas for major oil companies such as Shell and BP.
In 1850 our predecessors were centre stage in the evolution of what would become the telecoms and internet industry. They overcame extraordinary challenges to connect all corners of the world, through innovation, grit and sheer determination, so that the extraordinary became ordinary. From the Eastern Telegraph Company in the 1800s through to the Global Marine Group of today, our desire to lead innovation remains strong. We continue to deliver first-class solutions to the offshore renewables, oil and gas, and utilities sectors.
Working in partnership has always been at the core of how we work, using our expertise to deliver our customers’ goals. Our offshore and onshore teams, across our business units, are dedicated to building on the foundations of customer relationships and delivering a great service.
Today the Global Marine Group – composed of Global Marine, Global Offshore, CWind, and now OceanIQ – is full of extremely capable people, sharing a wealth of knowledge and constantly achieving excellence. That passion is evident in the entire team, as together we are committed to engineering a clean and connected future.
